Commercial New Business Account Executive

Peabody Insurance Agency is a highly respected, independent insurance agency that sells commercial insurance using the Risk Reduction Approach. A successful Commercial New Business Account Executive will be fully focused on generating revenue and delivering an exceptional customer experience using our approach. Revenue is defined as new and renewal business, upselling, and rounding accounts.

Commercial Account Executive

Duties Include but are not limited to:

  1. Assist Producers in collecting all information from the prospect

  2. Inputting applications into AMS for Top Of The Stack Submissions

  3. Rating & issuing policies on carrier websites

  4. Proactively analyze, identify & manage prospects risks

  5. Monitoring quotes being completed by carriers

  6. Assist Producer in presenting to prospects

  7. Follow PIA procedures & workflows

  8. Bringing in personal lines to cross sell

  9. Offering term life insurance

  10. Completing a service hand off with CSR after business is secured

Your Impact:

You will partner with Commercial Producers to successfully bring new business accounts through the Peabody Risk Reduction Approach. The producer is expected to generate new business leads, then they work closely with the account executive to close that business. You will work with our prospects to understand their unique challenges and goals, then assist with formatting a program that best fits their needs. You will contribute to our business growth in a fast paced, collaborative and fun atmosphere, as a valued member of our team.

Your Qualifications

    Experience as a Commercial Lines Producer or CSR in an Independent Agency

    Have or willing to work towards a CIC

    Possess a P&C license

    Sales mentality & drive for growth

    Strong business acumen

    Excellent communication skills

    Ability to manage complex projects over long periods of time
